Ben Trend To Climb Mont Blanc - 11/08/2009
We are absolutely in debted to Ben Trend who is about to climb the north face of Mont Blanc in aid of Wishing Well House. It is a 103 mile(166km) single stage extreme mountain race around the Mont Blanc Massif, which is widely accepted as the toughest foot race in Europe. The ascent and descent during the race will be more than the eqivalent of going up and down Everest! Experienced hikers would be expected to take 6-8 days and Ben has just 46hrs!
Ben is aiming to raise money for Wishing Well House, in order to help us complete our goal of opening an arts based school in the NorthWest of England that will provide one to one education for children with autism using a programme called Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
